Cable works fine, just don't bother with the software. Swap USB connection mode on the handset to "Mass Storage" to enable you to just drag and drop onto the phone.

Cable works absolutely fine.
Absolutely terrible phone, however.
Don't bother with the software, why would you want to? It acts as a storage device anyway.

Cable works brilliantly but the software it comes with is absolutely entirely useless and for the wrong phone, does not install, has no English (the prompts were just ??????? instead of characters!) I ended up downloading the software from the LG site ...

So, to sum up, this product is fine for the cable, pants for the software.

p.s. Beware! Viewty pc synch not supported for Vista, but works fine with XP, and contrarily usb data storage supported by Vista but not on XP!!?

Data cable for viewty works alright as expected. However, the bundled software was rubbish. Luckily I found the driver disk for the phone.
