Needed a connector for iPod/USB socket in car. Ones I had were much too long & you can't seem to buy short ones, so bought this retractable version which has done the job well in its retracted state - and I get the flexibility of being able to extend it if I need to.

The first one of these I ordered fell apart after a day, then despite receiving a speedy replacement from Amazon, the 2nd one lasted only a day longer. Very poorly made!
Flimsy - I guess you get what you pay for?

Sadly, 3 days after purchasing this item the internal mechanism died and I was left with a cable that would neither extend nor retract. Despite the low cost I still can't recommend a product that only lasts for 3 days!
